Our History

Health Career Pathways History

Nurse Aide Training located within Comstock Compass High School has been a well-respected part of the Kalamazoo area community for over 30 years.

In March 2022, Nurse Aide Training provided by Health Career Pathways was established. We provide a state-licensed 81-hour Nurse Aide Training at the same Compass High School location on Gull Road. This well-respected program maintains its successful in-class, person-to-person training format. Our graduates of over 100 students per year secure immediate new employment and provide needed relief to the shortfall of Nurse Aides in the community.

Our Industry Recognized Training is approved with licensure from the State of Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). Our training conforms to LARA Bureau of Community and Health Systems (BCHS) State and Federal requirements for a Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP). Our training is consistent with standards provided by the Michigan Competency-Driven Core Curriculum for Nurse Aides.

Our training program is completed in 13 days.
